When malware infects your PC, it can damage the operating system Registry. This could influence its functioning, make it slower to do daily tasks, and produce continuous errors while running distinct applications.

Once a PC is infected, even though you have eliminated the malicious program, the changes suffered by the Registry remain the same. Thus you need a program like Reg Assassin, which lets you restore it, deleting all the damaging entries.
